I don't know what the plans are for it but I will document whatever I decide to do here! The car was bone stock with just over 130k when I purchased it to replace my wife and I's totaled B8 A4. Just gonna keep a running list of maintenance performed and upgrades or modifications I make to the car..

I have a White Pearl B5 S4 2001.5 Avant with the 01E 6-speed manual. Looks just like this one. Bought it brand-new in August 2001 in Denver. Just turned over 90,000 miles. Still have the OEM turbos, everything is 100% stock and OEM. Planning to never buy another car. Just wish I'd bought a pair. :)

That is awesome! I think avants have begun demanding some what more of a premium these days and yours sounds like an excellent example! No reason why you can’t buy a second now to complete your pair is there?

As for the wheels they came on the car and are reps of the B5 RS4/ B6 USP 18” wheels thinking of getting some BBS CHS when I replace the tires.

I spy PS fluid and 2.0T coil pack conversion (can't tell what's in the white box). Did you go with Touareg adapters? BTW I dunno how you were planning to route the coil adapters, but you can fit them cleanly under/behind the fuel injectors if you take the time to do it. Mine has stock-appearing fitment. This is the best pic I have available currently:

White box is front brake pads. I went with a cheap semi metallic when I first did the brakes and they squealed like crazy even with caliper lube on the backs so I just grabbed some oem pads.

That looks good man! Similar to how I routed mine on my imola car. I didn't opt to do that with the avant but maybe in the future I will..

I did go with Touareg adapters, got the harnesses and adapters off eBay for 119 and bought genuine black top coils from FCP Euro so I can get replacements for pretty much free.

Cam chain tensioner pad broke on the driver side, so I gave her some low mile cam tensioners, new chains, new pads a timing service and some other small things..

This car has always had pretty out of spec Block 93 values since I bought it and after playing with the cam timing for a while I was able to set Block 93 values barely in spec at 5 and 6 degrees.. may end up messing with it further in the future but happy to at least get them in spec and relatively close to each other.

We are able to order new genuine ones in the US pretty easily from many companies.. I have seen people use the B6 reservoir on B5s. B5 part number is 8D0121403M

Another user may be able to set you up with one, they posted in this thread.

The paint is what sold me on this one when I was shopping for an avant lol. It was in such good shape! Interior needs work though, PO roughed it up pretty good

New outer and inner tie rods on both sides today, as well as alignment. 180k miles

Now that I parted my sedan I have more time and attention available for this ole thing..
