I parked my car about a year ago due to life and some other things. I'm trying to get my car back on the road but cant figure out this damn latch. I can shut the hood and it will catch, but I try to push down and it never locks. It looks like the arm with the arrow drawn to it should have a cable to it but I dont understand where it would come from. Using a screwdriver i can push the latches together to get it to lock and the release works. But if I shut the hood and open it the right arm is shoved out of the way. Any help you guys can give would be appreciated.
