Putting out a feeler for my B7. Have had 2 B6's this is my second B7. Finally looking to move on to another platform. There is a lot invested in this car, she has all the right parts and runs like a top. Post is a feeler as I'm not in a rush to get into a new vehicle, but will likely happen in the next year or so. Will sell to the right buyer, as I bike to work except in winter (hence low miles).

-Have new wiper stalk to swap for DIS trip computer, never had time to install
-Tires are brand new last month, brake pads are 7.0mm front and back.
-Alignment was done 6mo ago and rechecked at same shop where tires were purchased/installed

    Bads:
-Rear bumper was repainted at some point, and is not the greatest work. Has a fairly large blemish on rear bumper, driver side.
-Front bumper has started to get some rock chips, but looks great for a DD
-Scratch on rear hatch from opening in a garage area that was not tall enough, touch up paint applied.
-Some marks on headliner in rear of car due to wheel transportation

I think that's everything. Looking for $16,000. Hoping to get feedback on pricing and desirability of the car. Not sure how many nicely cared for B7's are out there with this low of mileage. Tune was done carefully with Dave at Motoza. With the intercoolers the ECU pulls only -1.75 degrees of timing up top.

I have a spreadsheet with all maintenance documents, as well as hard copies of all work not done by me. Most recent work (preventative) done at JHM with a clean bill of health.

Any questions just shoot me a PM

Just a suggestion. Your advertisement is extensive. Your price is a footnote at the bottom. The reason the guy asked about the price was because he didn't see it in the post. Putting the price at the beginning along mileage and basic condition before all the details is helpful. 2nd. If you do want to sell the car, when someone takes the time to ask a question about a detail in the post that they missed why not just give them the answer they want rather than tell them to read the ad again?

This. I finally found it but it needs better placement. Good luck selling. Price might be high.

Price you are looking for will seem high to most folks but it is a very low mileage example that has lived in the right part of the country with what appears to be great care. I built my 2008 GTI (which is same engine and suspension) to a similar level with similar parts and the cost of parts and labor is significant well over 10K. A well tuned K04 2.0t is a quick car and when you combine it with the suspension mods and brake mods it is a beast. So at 16K I suspect it is not a KBB bargain but for someone who wants all of these mods in a finished sorted out car, this really is a bargain, assuming it all checks out and the body and interior are also in great shape as they should be at only 71,000 miles.

GLWS! I've always had a thing for the B7 S4 avants with DTM kits! Where could I possibly find those headlights? I've never seen those before.

Thanks! The headlights I had to source form an Osram dealer in Germany. At the time plenty of GTI MK7 kits were in the US but none for the B7.

Very nice car. More pictures anywhere?

The price seems good, despite it being automatic (although in SF I bet you wouldn't even want a manual).
