Installing the spoiler was easy enough--it uses the same mounting points and bolts as the factory one. I had previously purchased the PDF shop manual which had step by step instructions for removal of the old one. The only thing the spoiler didn't come with was gaskets for the interface between the spoiler brackets and the trunk, so I made my own with some rubber sheet material. The whole process took under an hour.

I am thrilled with the way it looks. Since my car is black it blends in a bit more than it would on other colors. The vast majority of people who have seen it like it, especially the car oriented people. It makes me happy, and that's all I care about! :)

Here's a few more..not the best shots as it was right after the install and the car was dirty.

And rblauson--since you are in CT too, if you are interested in seeing the car in person, I should have it at the next Caffeine and Carburetors in New Canaan this coming Sunday 5/19. It's a great event if the weather holds (rain does kill attendance), considered by many to be the best cars and coffee type event on the east coast...http://caffeineandcarburetors.com/

I'm not a big fan of the look but as you stated it's your opinion that matters; it's your vehicle.

Definitely a unique TTRS on the road

    Thanks
Curious if you tuned your RS. This is my first truly fast car and Iím on the fence about tuning it.
Yes I want it to be faster and no I donít want to void my warranty.
    Your thoughts ?

Buy a piggy tail tune; either ABT or JB4.

I think 'piggy back' is the more appropriate term.
Basically, it's a second ECU that is installed. It takes over the engine management functions and increases performance.
There is no alteration of the stock ECU.
If you need to go to the dealer, the hardware can be removed and there is no trace - unlike a software flash which leaves footprints behind even if flashed back to stock. No reason for them to deny a warranty claim.

Iíve read this isnít 100% true anymore. Granted, it wonít happen the majority of the time, but supposedly for big warranty claims, they have a regional tech/manager come in and do an in-depth analysis where they can see the car was running outside of normal parameters for extended periods of time.

I can verify that when my RS was in the shop for over a month ( see drive system malfunction thread ) not only did a regional person come check out my car but somebody from Germany flew in. I ended up having a one of a kind problem but Iím sure the cost and nature of the repairs flagged an in-depth review of the car.

I haven't seen anybody post this video. But it's the only one I've come across that showcases the exhaust. Also, proves what others have said that you have to get an entirely new hood for the scoop. Exhaust sounds good but not $8k good.

Amazing video. All the Audi Performance Parts are expensive IMO. This exhaust is the same price as the ABT, but the ABT comes with the carbon fiber diffuser.

I would like to go to stage 1 as well but in the meantime the dealership recommended a tune-pedal because that has no impact on the warranty. I was unfamiliar with what that even was. I ended up getting one and there is a very noticeable difference and I've only got it set midway. I would recommend it, well worth the money. Feels like a tune.

These are excellent products. There are brand as Pedal Box, Remus and Sprint Boost with this kind of products. These doesnít increase even 1/2 HP on performance. This only helps with the throttle response. Iíve owned several Sprint Booster and I believe this is a great product.
