    Need help with issue

I have been chasing a problem for a few years know where when it gets hot like August if I get stuck in traffic or something like that I get a misfire code and "Coil" primary/secondary fault and go into EPC. It is always cylinder 3 only on a 3.0T, I can then typically reset and everything is fine as long as I can get moving to cool things down. I have done the obvious and changed the coil pack but that was not it, I have had this issue for a few years and only when it is really hot. However this year it has already happened granted it was the hottest day of the year so far but not hot for around here so it appears to be getting worse. Is there an electric fan maybe that should be running when stuck in traffic? Any help would be appreciated.
2021 B9 S5, Black optics, Sorts Package, Black door handles, spoiler wrapped black, IE intake and inlet pipe, ECS Tuning strut tower support.

    (sold) 2012 C7 A6 3.0T Prestige, Innovation Package, 20" Sport Package.

Did you change your plugs or at least inspect them?

Ok, any possibility that it's the harness? Just trying to cover all bases.

It comes up 0303 and 1361, always clears and will be fine unless I continue to be stuck in traffic then it will come back until I can cool it down some. Hell many times I can just shut it off and restart and it will be fine. Thanks for the help I am thinking connector but where?

Try moving the number 3 coil pack to another location and see if the misfire follows it to the new location. If it does then you probably have a bad coil pack despite it being new. Check all the boots to make sure there are no holes/gaps allowing the spark to jump.
