Differences between Pre and Post facelift sedans?

I was curious if anybody has a link to a detailed breakdown of the mechanical and technological differences between the pre and post facelift models? Trying to figure out what is the same and what you'd need to bring prefacelift a little more up to date

I don't have anything official.
but off the top of my head:

the 17/18/19 models have:
1. unique design for the front and rear bumpers and headlamps
2. car play
3. haldex update (supposedly more power to the rear available / which could mean it's easier to get the ass around)
4. updated mmi with improved graphics
5. availability of more/better tech:
parking system plus, high beam assistant, virtual cockpit, stop and go with the updated adapt cruise
6. transmission an additional speed but a catch- 2015 2016 2017 have 6 speed tranny, and 2018+ have 7

Most important, doesn't the FL have the 7 speed trans instead of the 6? that's worth a couple tenths performance I think?

Yeah the FL 2.0T Quattros have 6 speed while the non-Quattro versions have a 7 speed.

2017 and 2018 in the US are 6 speed.

In the US, 17 are 6, 18+ are 7.

The 2018 S3 in the US also has the 7-speed.

A couple other important items I’ve found during my research:

17+ was the first opportunity for the virtual cockpit, sort of mentioned above, but a pretty nice feature. 17+ also changed from having Sepamg Blue as an option to Aras Blue. I believe it also added Nano Gray.

A few other items I’ve seen highlighted for 2018 in the US:

Heated front seats and Audi Music Interface with dual USB ports are standard for Premium trim
Premium Plus trim adds a standard blind-spot warning system
Optional Technology package for Premium Plus trim adds Bang & Olufsen premium sound, Audi Virtual Cockpit digital instrumentation, and a navigation system
Sport package for Sportback E-tron offers a new 18-in. aluminum wheel design
New S Sport package for S3 model, combining magnetic ride control suspension with red-painted brake calipers

For 2017:
Restyled front end with new grille, headlights, bumper
New LED taillights with modern Audi lighting signature
New aluminum wheel designs
Standard collision preparation and avoidance technologies called Pre Sense Basic and Pre Sense Front
Premium Plus and Prestige models gain standard smartphone projection for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
Premium Plus Technology Package adds handwriting recognition technology and rear cross-traffic assist system
Prestige model adds standard rear cross-traffic assist
Optional Audi Virtual Cockpit instrumentation

Just to clarify - the A3 7-Speed is the DQ200. A dry clutch system.
The S3’s 7-speed is the DQ381. A wet clutch system.

to further clarify, the A3 FWD has the DQ200 dry system but the A3 2.0T Quattro has the DQ250 wet clutch system.
