Exclusive Paint/interior colors for SQ5

Hey everyone,

I was talking to my dealer finding out on colors for the 2019 SQ5 as I am getting ready to order mine. I was informed Audi has a Pre-Approved exclusive color list that contains 12 colors.

Apparently these are the only non standard colors that you can order for the SQ5, Incase anyone was interested, here is the color list for the Only Exclusive colors you can get on the 2019 SQ5:

-Garnet Red
-Piemont Red
-Nogaro Blue
-Mugello Blue
-Dark Red Mica
-Racing Blue
-Bronze Montecarlo
-Panter Black
-Tornado Red
-Cumulus Blue
-Nardo Gray
-Chalk Gray


Also there are 2 interior Exclusive packages you can get as well
- Cognac brown/black with contrast stitching -$6,050 option
- Black/Crimson Red with contrast stitching - $6,050

That’s pretty weak. Even the Golf R comes with more. They didn’t even include Imola Yellow?

Samoa would be sexy on an SQ5,
The GM at the dealer I am talking to is an old friend.. so hes going to bat for me right now on a non approved color to see if they will do it !

Thanks for posting this. I was just wondering about this within the last week. If I do end up in a B9 at some point, and my wife won’t relinquish the Quantum, I feel like I’d have no choice but to order Nogaro. I bet the Cognac interior is incredible, but that’s crazy money for a different color leather.

Quantum is fantastic. Seems like a color I would have expected to be Exclusive but without the premium.

I cant believe how expensive the upholstery upgrades are. Ridiculous IMO.

On the other hand exclusive paint seems well priced. You should be able to recover at least a couple thousand of the cost in incremental resale value so the effective cost is well worth it IMO.

None on the SQ5, I had to do a search in google to see each color on an Audi.
I believe ABT has a Racing Blue Mica SQ5 they just did in Europe

Chalk Grey is a great color but looks it much better on a 911 GT3.

Here are a few on real cars, though not SQ5s. Knowing that the Nogaro Sportback exists so close to me keeps me awake at night, but alas, it's not in the cards.

I don't believe you can order exclusive colors on a 2020 SQ5. I was looking into this when placing my order in August. Not available on the Q5 or SQ5 built in Mexico.

I really would love to order a 2020 SQ5 in Nardo Gray. I've always been obsessed with this color. Before approaching the dealership with this request, does anyone know if the color is residualized? For example with BMW, I ordered a Frozen Black M4 which cost $5,000 but since it was residualized, it only ended up costing about $50 per month on the lease to have the color which was a no-brainer (for me at least). Any insight you guys could offer would be greatly appreciated as I've heard both yes and no. Thanks in advance!

Cumulus Blue is something you don't see everyday. A quick search shows it looking like a icey very light bluish white. Chalk is hot! Bronze might be pretty sick with black optics and wheels or maybe even brushed bronze wheels. Would love to see some pics if any of you get one of these colors. Panter looks great!
