    Adjustable Upper Control Arm Question..

    Folks,

Got adjustable uppers installed and had the car aligned (late summer/early fall)- noticed that i had a little more wear on my passenger front summers when i swapped out to winters (in December). Didn't really pay attention to my ride height at the time (car was already on Lowering Springs).. but recently noticed that the Passenger side looks lower and more "tucked". Took a measurement and saw that i'm about 1/2 inch lower on the passenger vs Driver side.

Questions is - Can the ADJ arms being out of "adjustment" lower the car? Would/Could they creep inward slowly?? There's no clunking or weirdness w/ the cars drive-ability so i dont think that anythings broken. My winters are trashed after this year anyway so i was just going to ride it out until the summer but i'm getting a bit concerned after taking the measurement.

    Thoughts/suggestions?

No the UCAs can’t affect the ride height, unless the camber was waaaay off, even then, only slightly. And you would have noticed it driving. It “appears” lower and more ticked because the negative camber bigs the top of the tire inboard, so you look more tucked and lower. And if that’s the case, it’s why you wore the crap out of the inside of the tire. 1. Always get an alignment. 2. Always tighten down all lock nuts/jamb nut hardware once the alignment is set.
