Need help - Looking for reputable machine shop in CT.

    What’s up guys.
I’m looking for any suggestions on a machine shop in or near CT that can help me with my 2.7t.
I’m looking to build the block and heads. Since I’ve never really done any engine internal work myself I rather just pay someone and get it done right.
    Any recommendations will be appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.

The only one that I have experience with is Mike's Engine Stand. IIRC, they're in Naugatuck.

Which shop did you end up bringing it to? I usually go to Carlquist in Oakville but they are so booked they cant even take it in. Im looking for a shop in CT myself that know the 1.8t and has done stroker builds. I have all the parts for the long block, just need a shop.

Perhaps United or Exelerate can give you a name in CT.

Definitely Center Auto in Stratford. Brian and Rob are excellent. I and my buddies have used them for several engine builds. They’ve done 2.7t builds as well.

Second BMS, I had them do my 2 sets of heads for me minus cam install, I installed my lifters and cams. A friend told me they do the engine work for the local Audi dealers too.

I also know he has built a few AZR motors so he probably has more experience than most with Audi motors in the area.
