Yea my motor is fine, clutches however were fried.

As for the feeler, and direction. I’m thinking in a year or so to slap a 3.2 VR6 in there as so many in Europe have mated a VR to the DQ500 transmission and with Syvecs it will run in the car like a stock motor.

Here are some posts I made. All I did was lay the valve cover on the 5 cyl motor to stir the pot.

Now everyone has to realize I’m a die hard car guy who loves crazy and wild projects and swaps and love when new options become available.

So bolting up a fully Built VR6 and having it run flawlessly and go fast is a very possible reality.

Also, got many offers for 13-16k for my stock just 5cyl motor alone during the time my Feeler/FS AD I posted.

Gave me a ton of interest and viewpoint of what kind of money I could make selling the motor and turbo kit and have to put towards my potential VR6 swap.

I'm aware of what you're referring to.. but like I said, I was literally stock all around, running the staggered setup that came with the car up until a few days ago when I switched to my winter setup. The transmission adaptation reset seemed to have help with both my stock summer staggered setup as well as my square winter setup thus far..
Only thing I can think of is my car has been in and out of the dealership with the stupid limp mode off idle issue (Audi says they're still working on a fix for this). maybe something was off from the dealer poking around? who knows..

I don’t think this would help a wheel setup etc.

We do this to help the clutches compact and align after hard track days.

Yeap. just to be clear. I wasn't suggesting this would help with wheel setup. Someone in the thread happen to ask what my wheel setup was. As I said earlier, Car is bone stock including wheel setup (up until a few days ago). I posted this more for the over-aggressive ESC issue I've read (and experienced myself) in some threads.. It seemed to have helped with that in my case. Don't want to confuse people.

George, what ALL about our 2.5L makes you feel that it is not as good as the 3.2L VR6 and you wanting to swap out?

Didn’t say that.

Remember I said I love crazy and wild builds. I love the raspy ness and power of a 5cyl and Im having a blast so far.

But the VR6 being a cheaper motor to source and build and us being VR6 guys in general the swap makes sense especially if I’m
Planning to go with Syvecs down the road.

Currently a 3.2 VR TTRS running 7s over seas with the same RS3 trans DQ500.

That being said I fully intend on doing a full build with Iroz MotorSport on my current Daza 5cyl and continue to dominate the Californian RS3 scene with it, but in the end I think I wanna do something crazy and fun.

Any news on coding requirements for this? Curious how the motor & trans talk to each other.

Would be cool to pick up an A3 shell, DQ500, and VR6.

I think your 2.5L with all accessories and turbo is unworthy and just not very good as we all expected it to be, you really need to get rid of it asap, I will painfully take it from you, and will DM you where you can send it... the 7 sec VR6 is the way to go!!! :P
