First time post...My question, is there any advantage to using a 2.0 (i guess FSI or TSI or R8) coil as far as performance is concerned. I just purchased an excellent condition B6 A4 6spd mt and looking to begin performance upgrades. I do know about the better spark plugs that are recommended for tuned performance but not sure if i should be matching them with different than my standard coils.

Just have a set just in case, once tuned the regular coils can go bad and cause you to misfire. That happened on my mk6 2.0t. But on my 1.8t I threw on my mk6 gti regular coils(new) and i havenít had an issue, Iím currently stage 2
