Suspicious of these headlights

Hey guys can anybody share their thoughts with me on these headlights. I am trying to figure out what these dots are. They are present on both headlights and are not reflections or pixels. These are permanent dots - curious if that’s normal as I’ve never seen these before on any RS4 and I am interested in buying this car.[IMG][/IMG]

Hmm... just looked up the OEM headlights and they don't have those weird markings....

The reason I asked is because I know alot of people wanted to make their lights look similar to the B8 lights which did have a LED strip along the bottom, so I've seen people add an LED stip to OEM headlights. Thats what it looked like most to me.

Can you get a more close up picture of the dots?

Yep, me too - never seen it before. It is pretty noticeable and honestly doesn’t affect the looks so much as it does makes me nervous about potential accident?

You sure it's just not a continuation of those small lines that run down the face of the housing you see in every picture, like in the one below? Note inside of second picture.

I thought about it but notice that these lines don’t quite align with the dots...

That might be it - I think the owner said the headlights were removed in order to allow for the 2 step paint correction process.

Some folks replace lenses due to rock chips and just weathering in general. So it might just be the way new sealant adhered. Certainly wouldn’t stop me from purchasing this beast hehe Also a good excuse to do Joey&CC mod
