    I’m talking under the skin?

Are there any differences in floor pan, b and c columns?

Firstly, there was no B6 RS4.. Since this is the RS4 section, I have to assume that's what you're asking about.

But, knowing how the internet works, I'm actually betting that's not what you're asking for, rather the general b6/b7 chassis.

They're actually the same platform, with changes mostly made to the exterior skins, and some other revisions and updates that happen over models lifespans.

I assume you are referring to the s4... which encase this is the wrong forum. Here is an old post regarding the S4 b7/b6 differences: https://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php/190979-B6-S4-vs-B7-S4

There was a b5, b7, b8, and most recently b9 RS4. All generations have major differences from the chassis, suspension, transmission (entire quattro system/ differentials as well), and motors.
I don't think the B5 was sold in the US but I could be wrong - I think this side of the pond only has the B7 available (thought there are rumors of the B9 RS6 coming our way!).

Sorry both. I should’ve been more elaborate and more background.

    I suppose I could have posted in b6 a4/s4 or B7 a4/s4 forums however I have an B7 RS4 so I wanted specific comparison to B7 RS4 body vs b6/B7 a4/s4.

Reason for comparison is that a company makes a half cage for the b6/7 a4/s4 but before I get it I wanted to understand if there are any body differences that would not line up if I install in RS4

You're good to go with that, for your application the cars are the same.
