iím curious as well... seen everything from ~$500 for solo-werks (good/bad reviews, cheap but china made?) as well as high quality $1000+ H&R or KW... interested in what people think is the best bang for buck. Also opinions of the middle man BC or D2 coilovers?

If you can, buy a set of lightly used H&R Streets (bought mine for like $600ish). Had them on my A4 and rode well for being as low as I was.

Have Solo Werks and regret being cheap on my coil overs. If I could go back, I would go with a set of H&R.

I run ST coilovers (KW V1 essentially) and they ride just as smooth as the factory sport suspension, but body roll has been significantly reduced

+1 for Vogtland. Have a lightly used set of PSS10ís but everytime I go for a drive I wonder if the change would be worth the effort.

I have heard good and bad about H&Rís, good when they arenít leaking.

I have ST XTA and they have been flawless for over 3 years now. Adjustable dampening and camber plates included. (made by KW just not as shiny)

Lots of good reviews with Solowerks. IMO best bang for the buck!

I went from H&R Springs to ST coilovers. I did it based off of price as I was trying to stay around the $1,000 mark or less. So far no complaints with them

Iím running the H&R street performance on my Ď13 Allroad. Have no complaints at all about how they feel or handle. Weíre a little on the pricey end compared to other options out there but definitely ride well.

Only complaint I have with them is on my Allroad the backs are always tucking even at there highest setting. Would love to be able to go up 1/4Ē or so so I can push the wheels out with some spacers. IMG_3268.JPG

Install these in the rear...they come in 15-30mm. You will have to verify fitment on H&R but they are known to work with Vogtland and Bilstein.

There is litterally an entire forum full of this information. the fact that you are too lazy to search for it is your own thing. you could spend hours on this thing and find out exactly what you want, but if you just want somebody to tell you what to get....

Go to the junk yard and get some springs from a 97-99 f150, then go to advanced auto and buy a set of shocks for a 2012 Honda civic. i saw a guy somewhere do this setup once and he said it was the best thing since sliced bread.
