I dont think black modded lights look good on our gen audis. They look way better on B7 or even b6 IMO

Yeah agreed. The clear depo headlights look best on the B5 than blacked out. Just looks cleaner.

A place between here and there

Xenon and halogen are a type of bulb. Xenon and halogen housings differ. The xenon housings have a cut out area on the bottom to mount the ballast. Halogen housings don't. If they are xenon housings, you just need to also purchase ballasts for them, along with proper bulbs. The housing description in the ad should note what it requires. Leveling motors don't matter. You simply adjust the headlight beam pattern manually, since our cars (B5 A4) don't have them.

They also sell those blacked out housings for halogen bulbs. I think this is the answer you were looking for. Just buy those housings for halogen bulbs and not xenon.

Iím not gonna lie I like the xenon ones better.... but literally only because it has the amber reflectors still on them... on a black car I think would look good but I think Iíd be willing to sacrifice that just for plug and playability.. The bulb itself still can be amber so itíll light up orange anyway

Hey guys I was just looking at the Bixenon Mirimoto Mini H1 7.0s with some sort of Mirimoto Ballast (either the Elite HID or the XB35) and was wondering which one would be better as well as any additional adapter wiring that would make sure everything goes well. Any help would be amazing.
