In my clear cornered headlamps I use switchback LED bulbs and have resistor wired in to slow the flash. I love them, white light that matches my HID bulbs while parking lights are on, flashes amber when turn signals are on

Switchback LED look way better than any halogen, especially in euro headlights. Also have 1157 LED switchback in Allroad, only instead of load resistor modded turn relay with single small resistor.

I keep forgetting that is a thing, thanks for reminding me.

I was actually looking for these bulbs recently, don't even trust brand name bulbs off amazon let alone ebay so was hesitant to buy any of the silver looking ones from either. But then haven't wanted to put in big load resistors in the harness so keep not buying LEDs.

Time to mod the spare switch.. and hope it plays nice with my comfort blink relay.

this is brightest bluest 6500K switchback. I prefer slightly less bluish white 6000K.

Thanks a lot! With these, is there any modification required to get them to function? E.g. amber when turn signal is on

I have very similar bulbs, I needed to add ballast resistors to my wiring but apparently a single resistor at the relay works too. It's to prevent fast flash of the bulb due to the low resistance of the LEDs

I have 6000k to match my HIDs
