    2008 Cabrio No Start after cluster removal

    2008 Convertible. 2.0T.

    I took out the cluster to get a dead bug out. Put everything together and now car starts then dies.

    Help please.

    This is the S/RS section bud.

    But otherwise try to check if you plugged in all the cables at the back of the cluster correctly, if the ECU doesn't get a return signal from the cluster it can get immobilised IIRC.

    My apologies for posting in the wrong section.

    But, yes I have reconnected the 2 terminals in the back.

    Is there a re-sync procedure?
