Window Switch D3 child safety Lock

In my 09 A8L the child safety lock cannot be electronically disengaged. On these cars, if you manually unlock the safety in the side of the rear door, the electronics lock it as soon as you close the rear door. My plan is to solder the switch on the driver door. Pushing the botton does nothing. I have not found a wiring diagram anywhere that shows if the child safety lock button is "normally open" which i suspect. If my assumption is correct, then bridging the contacts with solder will make it "closed" hence no child safety lock, and my rear doors will be able to be opened from the inside.

BTW, no that didn't work. Got a good used switch assembly of the interwebs.
