So Ive been looking at getting a grill for the front of my car, I drive an 09' S-line. The trouble is, my state requires a front license plate. I found a few on ebay that looked like they have mounting places brackets for a plate (https://www.ebay.com/itm/AUDI-A6-C6-...l~4:rk:36:pf:0) but are very

I would much prefer something without, as there is another style of grill (OEM without the plate mounting place- just the grill lines straight through: https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...1afd4a1779.jpg)

Does anyone have any recommendations for other ways/places to mount a front plate, or any good listings for a honeycomb they'd recommend that includes mounting points if not?

Only real alternative are tow hook mounting options. Here is the one i ordered. Like this one cuz of the quick detach option:

I can see myself doing that. Would there be any worries about doing that and having the towhook cover off in an extreme climate area? (hot summers, lots of rain/snow/salt in the winter)
