Belly pan alternatives for the RS5?

Just curious to see if anyone has come across a company who makes a decent aluminum skid plate for the rs5? I’ve had them on all three of my s4s throughout the past and they have served as a great peace of mind when it comes to lowering your car. I had ECS Tunings aluminum skid plate and would’ve thought since they make one for both b8/b8.5 s5, that they’d offer something but it doesn’t seem to look that way. I remember another company called Dieselgeek as well but doesn’t seem like they have one either. It’s not the end of the world if o stick with the factory one but I do know a decent piece of aluminum will take a hit a lot better than brittle plastic plus they just look better!

I can’t imagine there wouldn’t be people interested in keeping the oil pan safe and wanting to jump in on having something fabricated, honestly surprised nothings been brought up till now. Doesn’t look like ECS plans on doing anything anytime soon either unfortunately.

The OEM "noise insulation" as Audi calls it, on the RS5, is pretty robust and to offer real protection, it'll have to up the thickness substantially. Still, room for improvement, right?. I once had a fully-built race motor with a cast deep sump oil pan that I split in half thanks to a gravel truck dumping large boulders in the middle of the road. I saw six large vaporize in a trail of oil via the rear view mirror in about 30 seconds. Good times.

Integrate a door under the oil drain plug for oil changes if you're not into the top side extraction method. But in all honesty, there are a number of ducts incorporated into the OEM unit. That'll make manufacturing a bit more complicated for the RS5. Probably why nothing's been produced.
