    Garage/Gate Door Opener Pairing

    Hi everyone,

Have we gotten to the bottom of why the new B9ís garage door openers donít pair? I live in an apartment complex with a gated entry and my previous 2016 A6 paired and worked great but my new B9 S4 wonít even recognize the signal to pair.

I read something months ago about removing the parking sensor fuse and then pairing but it might have only been a temporary fix.

    Any help appreciated!

Mine wasnít working either for some reason. I ended up moving my car to INSIDE the garage and trying the procedure again this time with the garage door open and it worked. Idk what difference it makes but thatís the only way mine was able to pair.

The side assist signal interferes with the pairing, so yes that fuse needs to be pulled during the process and it shouldn't be an issue. I've had mine paired for over a year now without a single hiccup.

Is that fuse shown in the manual?

Yes. It's one of the fuses in the trunk.
