First time Audi owner..MMI comes on for a second and goes off so I started trouble shooting using the loop thing, I started from the Bluetooth module underneath the driver seat and then the head unit in the glove box. As son as I plug the loop bypass into the unit the screen came on. But no sound nor was I able to change the clock. When I go to Car setting I get the error ‘Gatewa Not Available and radio not installed, Navigation not installed. I don’t know how to move on from here. Is this CP issue now? Do I need to replace the CAN Gateway? If I replace the head unit does it need to be coded..any novice link on coding help? I don’t have a vcds but a VAG401 please help
