Will a donor 6spd from a '00 A6 swap work in my '03 Allroad BEL tip?

My tip 5speed needs to go and i've found a cheap '00 a6 donor car. If the swap will work I figure I can build the APB motor on the stand while I'm abusing my BEL. This could keep me busy in the garage and out of trouble for months.

You will need to change out the rear differential the gear ratios are different.
You will need new front axles
I think the engine/transmission mounts are different
The driveshaft will need to be changed

Everything he needs is in the A6. However I would get the longer allroad axles for the front. But a6 axles will fit but if you turn on level 3 and 4 they pop out

The engine and trans mounts do not need to be changed*, those correlate with with body lift and some other suspension changes not the transmission type. You will need to either source a manual allroad driveshaft, convert the a6 driveshaft to an allroad center bearing, or get the drive shaft extender a few places sell to make the auto center driveshaft work.

Also the BEL is allegedly a better block so building an APB to replace an BEL could be a step backwards in durability. If you just want to do say k04s and make double stock power the APB will be fine though.

*ETA.. the manual A6 trans mount brackets will be used in this swap, those parts are not different allroad to A6 but are different manual to automatic.
