Having issues with bass out of sync /w amp

    Overall equipment:
Audiocontrol LC2i that is hooked up using the factory B&O subwoofer wires.
    JL Audio 5001/d
    Infiniti 8" 850w Subwoofer running at 350w RMS 4ohms
    Custom box, 22 x 15 x 4.5" which equals ~0.50cf
    KnuKonceptz 8 gauge amp kit

The bass seems out of sync by 1/4sec that is really noticeable on certain songs. I don't know why its doing it but its frustrating because it sounds like crap.

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong here?

Ok think I figured it out - I reversed polarity and so far itís better.

Does the factory B&O sub fire the opposite direction?

Bass bounces around your car before it hits your ears. Sometimes reversing the polarity actually puts it in phase. - iPod iPhone & Aux Specialists - Radio Replacement Specialists
