I'm only aware of a couple of gas stations in the entire state that offer 93. One in Aurora, and one near Cherry Creek. The last time I was at the Cherry Creek one on Evans, the 93 was listed as out of order, so they may not even have it anymore (this was at least 2 years ago, I don't live in Denver).

Like others have said, you have to mix 91 and E85 to reliably get 93 here. Generally 3.5 to 4 gallons of E85 and the rest as 91 octane will get you 93/94, assuming you're near empty. If you're concerned with running a 93 tune on 91 octane, at this altitude you can safely do it. If you're going to be driving below 3500 feet though, either plan ahead on where you can fill with 93 or just change your tune over to a 91 octane build if possible.

I looked for the Denver station on that website with zero luck. Please let me know if that has been different for anyone else.

I generally add e85 or fill up with 100 on occasion.

@Operator I got quoted a while back for about $170 delivered for 50 gallons of E98. Hit up Hill Petroleum if you are interested.

I am not sure why a 93 octane gas will make much difference on a NA engine

Seems to be a bit less prevalent the last couple of years. Used to see it regularly, especially as I got closer to Denver (a bit less so in COS). But I don't believe I see it at as may stations now. Maybe it's just that I'm not looking for it.

I think nearly every Kum and Go in the Springs has E85 now. The one by my house recently added it, so I no longer have to drive down an extra exit to fill up.

What's the ratio of E85 to 91 to get 93? There's a Kum & Go right down the street... a lot closer than trekking down to Chief Petroleum for 100.

With the math I've done, E25 should get you to 93. For me that's 3-4 gallons in a 16.9 gallon tank, depending on quality, but the best I've found to mix anywhere near me is like E75.

How many of you guys are on a 93 file in Colorado? I知 wondering if it makes any difference between the 91 and 93 file at this altitude. I知 on 91 file now but I知 thinking about switching to the 93 file and filling up with 4 gallons of e85.

I was on the 93 file since day one, no issues. Added 3 to 4 gallons of E85 every fill up.

I'm running EPL's 93 file. Since we're at high altitude you can actually get away with running 91 octane on the 93 map without causing damage to your motor. Per EPL's tuners though, if you go lower in altitude and will not have access to either 93 or E85+91, you would want to / need to load a 91 octane map to be safe. I was told by them that it's safe to run at a maximum of 4.5 gallons of E85, but that the closer to 4 I could get the better.

I've only ran 91 a couple times since my tune. I don't do a lot of miles, so the more frequent fill-ups needed when running with some E85 don't bother me one bit. Highway miles even with E85 mixed in are honestly not as bad as I thought they were going to be. Still bad, just not as bad as I initially thought.

Think of it as a cheaper mid-grade option (~88oct).

Brotherowl Off the morrison exit, Im building the Over Yonder Brewery 50' away.... so you will also have a place to grab a beer.

"Vice whiskey and kitchen" is also a good hangout place now right next to the brewery. Owners are really nice and they have a good happy hour.

2-3 draft beers during happy hour will only run you around $9.
