    $15k Incentive has me thinking...

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
$15k along with Audi loyalty incentives brings an $80k new S6 to around $63k. Thatís enough to make me consider trading in my 2016 S4. I usually let the first owner take the depreciation hit, but the difference in price between new and used is in that grey area now. Decisions decisions...

    Merry Christmas to me?

You should be able to get about 20k off. I got a 81k S6 for 20k off plus my trade of 2013 s4 made this a no brainer for me. I had the first dealership give me a 20k discount and the second dealer which had the color I preferred didnít hesitate at all when I told them first dealers offer. I also donít normally buy new due to depreciation but not worried about it here

Less thinking more doing Ben. Those numbers, particularly if you can find one optioned the way you want, are a no brainer. Unless you want to wait on the new V6 S6 haha!

I was originally going to buy a CPO 2016+ S6. Then with the incentive, was getting dealers to give me $20K off MSRP right off the bat to bring the S6 down into the low $60's. I had to make a decision to buy a brand new S6 or go with a fully loaded 2014ish RS7 for the same price. I went with the RS7 at the end of the day, because I knew I'd want to mod the car so I would have lost the warranty, whole purpose of buying new in my eyes. Then, if I didn't mod the S6 until AFTER the warranty, even with a Stage 3 S6, the RS7 would still smoke it. Plus, the cars today that would smoke it stock in 4 years would have had their depreciation hit, so those cars would be even more affordable.

Regardless, you can't go wrong. The S4 to S6 jump would be huge in both power and comfort/tech.

I would jump at that offer. Crazy prices. I kind of wish I waited to buy mine. That price is likely less than the depreciated value of a used 2017 S6, for something that is brand new and a model year newer.

Take it. These cars are awesome.

Great choice. I did the same but for me was more like new technology RS5 or used Rs7. ( I sold my s6 stage two ). I chose Rs7 and now my life is better. RS7 better . I tell everyone to buy Rs7. On the other hand brand new s6 for $63k is a steal. Grab it

Anyone know what package gets Heads Up Display on a premium plus? I know pics are telltale, but it hasnít arrived to the dealer yet.

If I could have got a S6 new last January I would have spent $63 on that rather than my Nardo A6 comp, plus tuning, etc.... for SLIGHTLY less considering the upgrades.

If thatís the car you want, the math is compelling.

Itís a P+ so it might be missing some features Iíd like to have, such as heads up display and birdseye cam. Other than that, the spec is perfect: brilliant black, black interior, black optics, sports pkg, driver assistance pkg.

Damn, do I bite even though it might be missing a few features? Whatís the LED interior lighting difference between P+ and Prestige?

    Thanks,

    Ben

The only difference in the LED lighting is the center console tunnel, itís lit in the Prestige. Itís the panel just right to your leg while sitting.

All of the other ambient lighting, including door panels, are identical. At least thatís what marked the 2017 model year differences.

I was under the impression that driver assistance came with the top-down view.

I am looking at doing the same thing, moving from my 2016 S4 to a S6. Question - is the Sport package worth it? My dealer is having problems finding one plus I am not sure about the dynamic steering.

In 2016 (assuming same forward) HUD and power trunk are standard with Prestige as well as LED headlights, these can be added individually on a premium plus but is a factory build not dealer option.

I donít think top down view comes with DAS on 2018 premium +, at least I canít find it. I canít tell any difference in steering feel between comfort, auto dynamic. They all feel loose as opposed to my s4, which felt nice and tight.

    Badly informed salesman.

From a sales manager friend, the incentive has been official for a while.

It's because you approached the conversation wrong. These dealers/sales people aren't going to openly inform their customers that they can get $X off right away. When I negotiated, I literally sent him an e-mail saying I'm interested in this car but won't consider it unless you give me the $15K credit off the bat. He responded said that I have done my research and they would honor it. They ended up negotiating $20K off MSRP but I ended up with a RS7.

I just received an offer in the mail from the dealer that I purchased my s6 from offering 10k off 2019 q7 in stock. Mailer says they have 75 in stock. See attached. Image1544970700.535795.jpg

Pretty much every C7 is getting blown out. The sport seat cars especially since so many were held back during stop sale. Audi has to do this or they likely wouldíve needed to buy back cars from the stores.

Double posting .. but shouldn't this be the math:

Well .. I'm pushing a few dealers on this. Does anyone have hard proof the incentive on S7 is $15K?

    $94,000
    - $9,400 (because you should always get at least 10% off current year at end of year
    - $15,000
    - $1,000 (financing or loyalty incentive?)

I'm gonna bump this one because it may end up helping more than just me.

Does anyone think it'd be dumb/ignorant/waste of money to lease a vehicle with the endgame of purchasing it once the lease is up? I've had one dealer (out of a few) respond and offer me a cool 20k off MSRP. I'm thinking I can flip that around and get some competition among dealers. Financing that is probably a little more than I would feel comfortable with paying over 5 years, puts the payment a little over $900/mo, but I think I could get a lease payment in a comfortable region.

I was in the similar (A6 instead of s6) dilemma as op a little while ago then I finally pulled the trigger.

I negotiated 28 percent off msrp painlessly on an Nardo gray prestige A6 with competition package. I looked at many dealershipsí inventory and found abundant amount of A6s but very few S6s. Three was the most I saw at a dealership on S6s. Iím pretty confident to say that the deep discount was due to abundance but the incentives/discounts are definitely
    out there!

I have a deposit down on an S6 as close to my desired spec as I could find. Was only able to negotiate 20% off MSRP. Now to wait for it to be transported to my dealership.

Mythos Black/Black Prestige - Wasn't willing to compromise
    Sport Package - Necessity
    Black Optics - Necessity
Cold Weather - Didn't want, but couldn't find one to check the other boxes.

I guess I'll be stuck with a plane jane round steering wheel. I'm not sure I'm down to spend $1500 to swap to a flat-bottom.

    Thanks,
