I installed magnaflows today. I had these installed and itís a nice low sound but still too quiet! What do I need next? Resonator delete (I still have stock one)?? Do I need an x pipe?

What part number is the magnaflow x pipe??

    I had these installed.

Is the rest of the exhaust stock?

If you want volume, just put in resonators. I have 6 res' on my Allroad and she's a riot outside the car.

For exhausts I always followed this rule for modifying (stock car pov):

"Remove the resonators to let YOU know you have a loud car. Remove the mufflers to let EVERYONE ELSE know you have a loud car."

Wow your car sounds great!! I like your thoughts on resonator. All my cars have been non resonated. This has stock resonator on. Here is pic of car before I changed stock mufflers our to magnaflows

Try having the magnaflows removed and just do a muffler delete. I think you'll find that the stock resonator and cats do a good enough job with volume, while keeping rasp/drone to a minimum

next logical steps is to record some exhaust noise from agricultural implements, burn on CD, and play at desired volume.
