So sorry I can't figure out how to attach pictures from Flickr but put links there.

Probably not to everyone's taste but looking to wire it to headlight switch. Can someone confirm which is the switched power? I believe it's the gray wire.

There is green, brown, gray, and purple/green.

    Thanks.

So gauge is in and works.

But..... None of the wires at the headlight switch is actually switched. Green and brown no voltage. Gray hot all time as well is the purple/green.

    Any suggestions?

I used a Posi-Tap to wire my radar detector to a switched fuse. I used the fuse box you access by removing the panel you see on the side of the dash when you open the driver door. I used the fuse for the switched 12v accessory plug under the climate controls. The fuses are labeled on the fuse panel cover.

Works perfectly. You can get a Posi-Tap on amazon or at any decent hardware store. $5. IMG_1111.jpg

I used F40 for sockets. Gauge lights up when car is on not just when lights are on.
