    First Oil Change

I just bought an RS5, and dealer states first service is earlier of 12 months or 10000 miles. I am curious when everyone did their first oil change. I am certainly a believer that oil & filter should be changed in the 500 - 1500 mile period on a new car.

The oil should be changed within the first 1000 miles. After that, roughly every 3000 - 5000 miles.

Same for my RS5, first oil change is scheduled at 12 months or 15,000 km, first service at 24 months or 30,000km

    Aluminum trim or black?
East end or west? I'm in west end. There is Nardo in the west.

I just received a message on my car about an oil change being due this month. I have 5800 miles. It was purchased as a dealer demo in October with about 5k miles.
