Rear brake replacement, any tricks for caliper carrier bolts

I've got things pulled apart but am struggling with the caliper bolts. Any tricks, I have a torque gun but there is no space to get in there. How are you getting these out to change out the rotor?

I use a breaker bar and small 1/2 drive socket.

The rear was very difficult for me. No room for an impact gun, and no room for my big 1/2" breaker bar. I have a 3/8 breaker bar that's about a foot and a half long so it fit in the wheel well, and I used a hammer on it to knock the bolts loose. And some penetrating oil for good measure, even though the bolts are aluminum.

Going back in, I got the torque right but didn't get a full 90 degree turn after. I haven't had any issues.

Audi uses stretch bolts, one time use on a lot of components so you replace with new ones. When you torque them down, Audi specifies a preliminary torque figure, say 60Nm plus a 90 degree (or whatever they specify) additional rotation of the torque wrench. So you torque it down to 60Nm and then turn an additional 90 degrees of rotation.

They're also called torque to yield bolts. They physically stretch which is why you cannot reuse them. Theoretically you can with a bit of loctite blue and more torque but most of the bolts are fairly inexpensive. It's a pain when you do suspension as you replace every bolt. ECS actually has a whole kit just for this.

Yeah I replaced the carrier bolts but none of the others. The audi shop manual says to replace the others too but they're just tightened to a torque, not stretched after. And it's a low torque, so I saw no need to replace them. I'm assuming they recommend it just because it's for brakes.
