    Upgrade MMI - Sirius?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I just bought a 2013 A6 Quattro. I would like to upgrade the MMI and called the dealer. They do not seem to want to do it and, if they did, they told me it would be very expensve. Is there another alirernative?
Also, my MMI only gets Sirius and therefore I am not able to access all the channels my subscription provides. Is there a way to upgrade the Sirius receiver to a Sirius XM receiver without losing all the current MMI features.
    Thanks in advance.
    Phil

It should be the same as a 2015. Did they have siriusXM in 2015?

This receiver only gets Sirius (only goes up to about channel 200). There are three kinds of receivers floating around out there: Sirius, XM and SiriusXM.
I would like to replace the module with a SiriusXM receiver if possible. Not sure if it is.
    Thanks.

That would be my advise. Is to see if you can find one out of a 2015. If it is sirius XM it's worth a shot. But since it wasn't designed for that car the only way to find out is to try it or find someone that already has.
