    ST Coilovers for A4 Avant/Sedan

Putting out a feeler for my like-new ST Coilovers that I recently had installed on my B7.

They are part #90606 (‘02-‘08 A4 Avant Quattro) but have had the rear adjustable perch modified to fit on my sedan and solve the complaints found on the forum about soft rear springs on the STs.
The perch can be replaced in order to install them on any Avant and regain full adjustability, or can be kept as is to install on a sedan.

They’ve been on the car for a little over a month, have approximately 1000 miles on them, and have not been through any rain or salt. The car is also garaged.

The reason I’m considering letting them go is simply due to me preferring my previous setup.

The rear currently sits at around 24.75” FTG with the modified rear perch, and the front is set to 25” FTG, as can be seen in the photos below.

They are currently located in Los Angeles, CA. If you’re interested, please send me a PM!

How is the rear perch modified ? Didn't know the rear mounting is different for sedan and avant ?

Apparently the Avant springs are physically longer, which meant that at the perch’s lowest settings, the rear sat incredibly high.
If I’m not mistaken, the metal collar was shaved down and separated from the threaded pipe to drop it to the current height.

Ahh that's good info to know, what was your previous setup that you prefer them to these ? I hear nothing but amazing things for ST.

Surprisingly, it was just the sport suspension with hotchkis sway bars and upgraded endlinks!

PM me an offer! and you could fit it as-is, but it’ll probably end up sitting too low for your liking and you wouldn’t have adjustability. To solve that, you’d just need a new adjustable/threaded rear perch, which I’m currently in the process of sourcing.
