    searching for clean C4 Avant

    Hello everyone,

I'm desperately looking for a clean C4 A6 Avant after missing out on the perfect one at a dealer in Denver earlier this week. It was a black on black 98 with pretty much all the stuff I'm looking for. (if you or someone you know bought this and you/they're not too attached to it please message me).

Any way, I'm still looking and not really finding the 'right' one. If anyone has a clean C4 Avant they're thinking about selling please feel free to message or post here. Willing to pay good money for the right one and willing to travel anywhere in the lower 48.

It will go to a loving home next to my 4-seater W12 and 3.2 DSG TT

There’s a super clean S6 avant in Seattle. Expensive but clean.

I am, I can't stay away it seems. Too much charm as a good looking workhorse.

I saw that one, maybe if it was under $10k I might think about it, but even then realistically it's going to be hauling stuff, racking up miles and seeing salt duty. It would be a shame to do that to it.

Thank you so much, I had stopped looking for anything. I contacted the seller and I'm going to see it tomorrow and hopefully purchase. I didn't think a running, decent condition S6 would come under 'winter car' budget- much less the seller work in the SAME town I do.

Welp, bought it! It has a good history and pretty much everything worked well on it. The downside is the rust. It came with a few new panels including the rear hatch which was by far the worst.

I'll be picking it up after the weekend and will be sure to post some pictures over time as I restore it while I drive it.

    Thanks again so much jbrentd!
