Will adding a DP cause issues with DEQ? I understand that some tunes can help with this?

    Thanks in advance!

Depends on where in Oregon and what kind of car you are talking. I've put Downpipes on a audu that only had one set of cats instead of two wuthout any sort of O2 extensions and it passed. Running catless would be hard to pass if they put a sniffer in the end. Most of the time they are looking for emissions codes, depends on what kind of inspection they are doing.
The tune would code the rear O2 sensors into saying they are ready and pass requirements for readiness. Same as SAI delete .

Or just put the stock downpipe on before testing.

Youíd need a o2 sensor spacer to delay the CEL, and itís a crapshoot whether it does or not. Thereís a chance that if you clear it, do the road test to ready all the emission sensors and take it in before it throws a code, youíll pass. If youíre tuned and have the 2nd o2 sensor eliminated, youíll fail DEQ due to catalytic test being Not Ready. You have to detune to stock to test.

Orrrrr you have to put the stock cat in to pass.
