    2013 S6 air suspension failure

So this Wednesday I brought my car in to just do a simple install of a RS6 front bumper and when I came to pick it up 2 days later the suspension in the rear was literally at least a whole foot higher than the front. We tried to lower and raise the car, put it into comfort and dynamic mode etc and nothing.. we could hear the air suspension trying to work but literally no movement. Anyone else experience this problem and or might know what the problem is? Thanks in advance!

If they lifted the car without putting it in tire change mode, the suspension can do dumb things. If you have access to a vagcom cable, you can follow instructions in the vagcom thread to reset and calibrate your suspension- it can also give you any associated error codes

Not sure, but you are absolutely going to want one for peace of mind in diagnostics for the car. You can get the 3 VIN version for $199 at Europaparts.com. The VCDS software is a free download

Try setting the car to Jack Mode and then turning it off. Possibly the shop also put it in Jack Mode and left that on, though you usually get warning lamps if that is the case.

    Cheers,

If one of your bags sprung a leak, your height sensor will level both sides to be equal. I had a passenger front strut leak and it did this. The air pump also burned the positive wires from running constantly trying to raise the car.
