    2014 A4 Quattro - wheel fit?

    Hi Everyone,

I just upgrade to a (new to me) 2014 Audi A4 Quattro and have an old set of OEM wheels from my 2008. Wondering if they will fit?

    2008 OEM wheels:
    17x7.5
    45mm offset
I was going to mount 225/50/17 Blizzak ws80's

    2014 OEM
    17x8.0
    48mm offset

The bolt pattern on both is 5x112.

Now... the dealership said that they "wont mount up" w/o much detail. Any forum thoughts? Would I need a spacer to compensate for the offset differences?

    Thanks!!

The 17" rim for 2008 and 2014 A4 both appear to be the same 225/50R17 on 7.5x17 et45 5x112 cb66.5. So not sure what those wheels are you call 2014 A4 OEM. The 2014 A4 allroad had a 8.0x17 option, but that was et26 (to push the wheel out to fill the wheel flares). I don't see why your 2008 rims wouldn't operate and look like stock on your 2014 (unless it's an allroad). But you can always just jack up a wheel and swap one and see what happens.

If by 2008 A4, you mean a B7, then the dealer is correct, your 2008 wheels will not fit because the center bore on those wheels is 56.7mm (or something like that). The hub on the 2014 A4 is 66.1 or something like that. The wheel centering hole in the old wheels is too small for the new car.

You could probably by a spacer that adapts the different hub sizes. But the spacer will be pretty chunky.

wheel-size.com, when looking up 2008 A4, only shows a 66.5 center bore wheel for USDM. 2007 does show 57.1. Wonder why they have B8 specs for a B7 year. Guess the site cannot be considered reliable when the product generation is different in the EU vs US for a particular year. Sent them an email; hope they correct their data.

You can get the centers bored out to the correct size at a machine shop or a wheel repair shop if you have one around.

yeah, that's similar to what the dealership said - something about not mounting up right (assuming they were talking about the center bore differences).

Eh... I really don't want to deal with machining wheels, etc. Will just sell them and move on. Thanks everyone!
