How do I disable automatic fan speed adjustment? 2016 S7

Whenever I increase/decrease the temperature, the fan control tries to adjust accordingly based on its current setting. Even if I've adjusted the "Auto" fan speed from 8 to 4, if I were to increase the heat (on a cold day) the fan speed would try to accomodate automatically and increase speed to 6 (for example). The "Auto" setting would be 10, but this personalized auto-tune increases to 6.

It's hard to explain but it may be obvious to everyone else. I don't have "Auto" turned on at all, but it still keeps adjusting fan speed. What am I missing?

Click the fan button then use the same deal as you would to change the temp to adjust the fan speed.

That is the thing, though, I can adjust the fan speed manually and then when I got to change the temperature the fan speed will automatically adjust up or down.

Like some phones have the ambient light sensor and it adjusts your screen brightness; you set the auto-brightness to On or Off. Other phones have an adjustable ambient sensor, where you go to one lighting condition and it automatically adjusts the screen, but you reduce the brightness. It will adjust all other light values based on your user input for that one particular lighting scenario.

The Audi fan speed is doing the same thing.
