I was wondering would the head from a 2004 vw Jetta gli head hit onto the 2002 audi a4 quattro avant 1.8t engine?

Yes. You should have no problems. That's probably an AWP code head. I have used them on a B6.

When you put it back together, use the new Litens mechanical timing belt tensioner.
