Weird sound from glove box electrical problems

I recently had 2009 a4 sline at a shop to get bumper replaced. Picked it up and key fob doesn’t work, weird sound coming from glove box, windows intermittently work, electric trunk latch doesn’t open, convertible top doesn’t open. And a weird sound coming from glove box.
We had very bad rain and I’m thinking it got flooded at the garage while it was there. Any advise as to what to do? It wasn’t like this when I dropped it off.
    Here’s a short clip.

Flooded comfort module under the passenger seat carpet? It’s in a sealed box but water can still get in there if it’s flooded enough.

That may be it. It’s a soft top and the back compartment had some water visible. Do you think it will dry out? Or should I go back to the repair shop and have them fix it. Because it was in their possession when this happened.

You can hardly blame the repair shop for leaving a car outside unless they left it outside with the top down. How would they know it has a water problem without being told?

If it has a water problem, the problem was probably due to happen any day soon and would have probably happened just from being parked in the rain anywhere.

The drains in the battery area are known to clog up and leak water in through the ECU and pollen filter and those don’t usually clog up in a day.

Any idea on repair cost? Do you think it needs to be replaced?

I couldn’t tell you without removing your seat, pulling up the carpet and checking the control module for damage or water testing your car.
