    audi a4 b6 sound explanation after letting go accelerator pedal

    alright, kinda new to this and just want to know what is sound this called. Is this a 'cool' sound? Should I be concerned? Could it be related to some boost / waste gate ? Originally car had k&n intake filter, I also have stock filter if that changes anything.     The horse like sound when letting off to shift? The bypass valve, itís normal. The sound is more pronounced when the factory air box is removed

    it's stock, still factory airbox but with filter mesh filter.

    Diverter valve. No problem. If yours was going bad (is bad), it would be making a constant similar noice all the time, while your foot was on the peddle.
