Colored part of a door card removable?

Is the colored leather / alcantara part of a door card removable? Looking at a set of seats but the door cards are shot. I'm trying to determine if I could pop out the colored leather from the S4 door cards and swap them into my allroad door cards.

Anyone have experience here? Thank you!

They are but not easily. You have to break all the spot welds and then reattach them. Just had mine done.

No worries. Keeps my thread up top if anyone else wants to respond

@weverb - did you remove and reinstall that colored part yourself or have a shop do it?

Sorry no. I believe they just used fasteners to reattach them.

Honestly not that hard to remove, only needed a Box Cutter and Solid Screw Driver...

Do you think they are easy to reattach?

Yes, you shouldnít have any problem reattaching them with a good strong glue.. I would just cut your plastic weld ribbits off with a sharp razer blade/box cutter and when you reattach the new one hold it in place really tight and glue it.. if you can get something to firmly press it over night you'll be golden!

But, none of this was hard to do.. just needed simple tools and a little patience... That's why I was sooo pissed when the guys destroyed the door cards! SMH took 10mins to remove them!
