    1.8T taking a long time to reach optimal coolant tempature.

    I recently had my oil cooler fail, which caused oil to leak into the coolant track. To resolve that issue, my mechanic replaced the oil cooler and flushed/replaced the coolant. Now the issue I have is that coolant temperature takes 2x to 3x as long to reach optimal operating temps. How can I tell if it's my thermostat that needs replacing or a temp sensor?

    I also have the following engine code showing up in a VCDS scan...

    18613 - Performance Malfunction in Cooling System
