    Definitely not a Torx. Torx is a male head with a female bolt. This would take a 7 spline version of a regular looking socket. however i think it doesn't need to be removed. will update

    Basically a female version of torx (I don't know the official name) but it's not uncommon and you can buy for a 1/4" and 3/8" ratchets - Autozone, Parts Plus, Pep Boys, Lowes, HD, etc. all have them. I've purchased them both in a set and individually. If you Google female torx set you'll get a ton of hits.

    Female E-Torx I believe is the proper name.
