Amazon or AutoZone might have them. Lowe’s now is an official Craftsman vendor, could check there as well.

    Good luck!!

It's not a specialty tool - it's a Torx head. Any auto parts store, Home Depot, Loes, etc

Definitely not a Torx. Torx is a male head with a female bolt. This would take a 7 spline version of a regular looking socket. however i think it doesn't need to be removed. will update

Basically a female version of torx (I don't know the official name) but it's not uncommon and you can buy for a 1/4" and 3/8" ratchets - Autozone, Parts Plus, Pep Boys, Lowes, HD, etc. all have them. I've purchased them both in a set and individually. If you Google female torx set you'll get a ton of hits.

Female E-Torx I believe is the proper name.

Do not remove the reverse torex bolts. the adapter to the caliper is held on by 2x 21mm bolts to the hub. before removing these bolts removed the clip that holds the brake line to the strut/ hub. this will allow for more movement of the caliper.

I am a tech for Audi in socal and do these brakes all the time. I have never taken the reverse torex bolts out.

I think the reverse Torx bolts are there to hold the brake pad pins, like the rear brake of a Touareg, no need to remove. The pads are spring loaded. Just pop out the old one and pop in the new.
