    Dip Light Issue

Just wondering if anyone has experienced this issue before. I have a 2006 Audi A3, once in a while, my headlight on the driverside will start flickering and or just turn off. On the light swich if I turn to off position and back to auto it will turn back on. I don't understand what can cause this as there seems to be no visible issue with the headlight. How can I check or ensure this does not happen.

Usually this issue is a failing Ballast.
Could also possible be a failing bulb or wiring/connector.

I fixed mine by simply dis/reassembled the connection from the ballast firmly but this isnít always the case.

Adding die electric grease between connections. My car has had many light out bulbs. Sometimes this works. Audis and electrical are touchy. Could be as simple as loose connection. Try swapping headlight bulbs to passenger side
