Anyone else have issues with these making terrible cabin noise and following road lines, to a point of being dangerous?

The tire noise is so bad the entire cabin vibrates and makes a loud harmonic noise (like matchsticks in the cabin), and the wheel shakes.
It's not necessarily a balance problem and certainly NOT a flat spot on the tires....

    Anyone else???

Not at all, in my case the ride is really smooth and quiet, there must be something wrong, probably one of the front wheels needs balance

I think the tires are defective, they make WAY too much noise....

No issues in my RS5 but I'm only 2000 miles into my ownership.

No issues in my RS4 as well. I've done 15KKm both on road and track.

All the positive reports, just more convincing that the tires have an issue....

Not an RS5 but factory continentals tend to need replacement very early for road noise, cupping/feathering etc. I had this experience with my current '15 A4 that came with Contis that lasted about 20,000 kms. But it seems to be just the OEM Conti's that come with the car.
