did you install yet (034 trans mount?)
i asked this a few times but haven't received a good answer, but the plastic rivets on the center underbody plastic are inset pretty deeply. I haven't been able to find a way to pop them out.

@cmoore - did you install the trans mount already on a 2018? did you have any issues or what did you use?

Yea I did this a while back. It was definitely harder than expected to remove those rivets. If I remember right I used a pry tool under the entire rivet to pull it out slightly. Then I was able to get a small thin screwdriver under the rivet head and pop it out from the body of the rivet. Probably would have been much easier if i wasn't reaching from the side and could actually see the rivet better.

Thanks for the info - partially wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something regarding those rivets.

sq5/2019 - let us know how it goes when you have a chance to install.

I have a trans mount from my previous gen q5 and been meaning to test if it works on the new 2018's
if not, will try out the newer version.
