Decided on a tune. Now what else?

So my fiance is ordering the new M340i BMW in April.
I want my A3 sline to keep up.
Decided on the Unitronic Stage 2 and DSG Stage 2 tunes.
    What downpipe do you recommend?
I will probably be purchasing little by little until I get all the parts.

    Thanks for the help!

Depends on what you prefer. If you want a pipe with zero drone and perfect fit, I recommend Integrated Engineering. I held off on a downpipe for a good while since I was not wanting the drone that most report a downpipe has. IE claimed there's didn't drone. I was skeptical, but went for it anyway. To my surprise, zero drone - and as quiet as stock with the stock exhaust. Happy camper here.

I had an APR downpipe mated with a Dinan non resonated exhaust and the drone was not that bad it was livable, you could hold conversions in the cabin with out having to speak loudly. With the oem eexhaust was just as quiet as stock just with a little more sound but almost like stock However I was told by some freinds that when sitting on the rear seats it was a little loud with the dinan exhaust installed. I took a 500+ mile trip with my sister and she never once complained about drone. I also was tuned with unitronic stage 2 for 93 (even though there's only 91 on cali. I was fuel mixing) and the car was plenty fast great daily especially when tuned.

You have my car exactly. I went with a billyboat high flow cat downpipe when eBay had a 15 percent off anything sale. I think it sounds a bit louder than stock, but it could be the tune as well. Certainly sounds the same cruising around town.

It came with an o2 sensor extension cable since the sensor moves further down the downpipe.

The only thing I don't care for is the smell, but high flow cats do that

The only smell I get from the IE pipe is on initial cold start before the cat warms up. After that, I don't notice any smell at all.

So I have an aftermarket cat back exhaust. Will that cause any issues with the IE downpipe?

Nope. Comes with an adapter for aftermarket exhausts.
