does anybody in the mid-atlantic have suggestions on clutch replacements in the Baltimore/DC metro area? I purchased an S5 with 40k miles on it and am experiencing slips at hard accelerations in the upper RPM's...

Looking for suggestions for a stage two replacement (probably going with the ECS tuning stage 2 kit) and more importantly suggestions on a good shop to use. What is the average labor on this type of job?

Check out induktion, I used them a few years ago for my coilover install. Prices were more reasonable than other shops I looked at.

Based on a recommendation by someone active in the local Audi community, I used them once and was very impressed with their knowledge of Audis, quality of the service, availability of parts, and their reasonable labor rates. I don't impress easily when it comes to auto repair facilities. This is now my go-to place for my Audi repairs I can't handle myself. (I refuse to use dealers after warranty expires for many reasons.) Also check out the reviews on the web--very good.

I think a lot of S5 owners (myself included) like the Southbend clutches. I have a Southbend clutch and an ECS lightweight flywheel on mine. Daily driven for 30k miles with no issues other than a throwout bearing going bad. Then again, throwout bearings are shoddy even on factory systems...

I went with a Spec Stage 3 clutch kit with a new factory flywheel. Feels almost factory.
