Just an oil change at times.Spark plugs air filter and pollen filter as well as other items were replaced at necessary intervals as well as other parts that failed over time. However engine is still original.as it the transmission prop shaft rear diff.I will say this.I dont believe Ive ever done a wheel bearing in this car.

785,000km is insane! That is a solid testament to the 1.8 and other components! I like how you cant even remember if a wheel bearing has been changed! ha. I assume its all stock, like no stage 1+ or anything. I fear with my stage 1+ that the motor/head/turbo wont last nearly as long. But I do drive like a mom, so that might save it.

Bone stock is correct apart from some interior changes and 17Z calipers up front with 330mm rotors.I have a big turbo motor that is m planning on putting in the car over the winter along with a 01E and some other goodies.

I don’t think you’ll have any issue with the engine on a stage 1+.Turbo maybe.I would only recommend changing the turbo oil feed line to help the turbo last longer.Other than that shouldn’t have any issues.

Yes, 785,000kms is impressive, I don't think I know of any other B6 with that much. How's your body/chassis condition?

I have 270,000kms roughly on mine, original engine but rebuilt bottom end with IE rods and AEB head.

Body apart from faded clear that can be buffed out is in great shape. Obviously underneath fasteners are rusted here and there but nothing is seized or rotted.Paint wise no issues or rust apart from the clear in the front fenders and good. But as mentioned it buffs out as I already tried on one fender.

    Hey Guys,

I'll play along here. I just passed the 203K mile mark a few days ago:

Some minor issues here and there, but car is still running strong for the most part! I still need to type up my milestone 200K mile thread, and do a more in-depth post, but I have been busy with kiddo + work.

Hopefully, will knock it out in the near future! =)
